MEET THE QUEENS

CHANSA SHOWERS

Chansa Showers doesn’t just bring May flowers — she brings it all! She’s spent over ten years in ‘showbiz’ wearing every hat (wig?) there is, and since 2016 has devoted her career to drag. When Chansa is not doing her own shows or writing for some of Canada’s top drag talents as they jet into the Drag Race Cinematic Universe, she’s running five to ten drag shows a week on Toronto’s iconic Church Street with over sixteen queens/performers a week! Chansa knows a drag show better than RuPaul knows a checking account. In her standup — her dry wit can cause a drought, her warm showers can cool a hot summer night, and her acid rain can rust the jewels of any queen in the room. Bring an umbrella!

HUNNI KRÜLLER

Hunni Krüller is the twisted sister of comedian Tom Hearn. Born out of the pandemic, Hunni blurs the lines between comedy and drag. Hunni is known for her HIGH ENERGY hosting and live vocals. She has recently showcased for JFL, Winnipeg Comedy Fest, and has been featured in JFL Toronto. Hunni recently directed and performed the Halifax Fringe hit ‘Live, Laugh, Lipsynch’ and is the producer of ‘Werq the Mic’. Out of drag, Tom Hearn has over 350K followers on TikTok and Instagram with over 100 Million views on his Ina Garten series. You may have seen Tom as a member of the Second City, or featured in ‘Good Sam’ (CBS), ‘Children Ruin Everything’ (CTV, The CW), ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ (FX), Cross (CBS), ‘How to Die Alone’ (Hulu), ‘The Social’ (CTV), and Making Scents of Love’ (Tubi).

SELENA VYLE

Selena Vyle is Toronto’s only bearded Latinx/Arab cabaret comedy camp vamp (of a certain age). This singing and dancing diva is one of the hosts of Canada’s longest running drag brunch at Glad Day Bookshop, and produces a monthly improvised drag play under Yaas & Vyle Present The Play We Just Wrote Just Now. She is the voice of video game character Rosa Mel Paquete in Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 and is one of the writers and performers behind the Canadian Comedy Award winning show A Sketch Comedy Eleganza Extravanagza. Her visual album, Broken Hearted Girl, is available nowhere, but she soon can be seen opposite Alexandra Billings in the film Queen Tut, which doesn't have a release date yet so you can't watch that either. She wishes you well, even if she may not like you, which she probably doesn't but she’ll fake it real good.

VIZA DECLINE

Viza DeCline is Canada’s drag answer to Joan Rivers that no one asked for. Lovingly dubbed Canada’s most critically ignored drag superstar, Viza has been delighting (and scarring) audiences with her quick wit and scathing commentary for over 15 years, and has won all of the top titles within Toronto’s queer community during that time.
